Hand Woven Seagrass Basket with Hanging Rope in Two Sizes

This hand woven seagrass basket is a practical storage and display piece for homes that need flexible, lightweight organisation. It is listed for use with stationery, fruits, vegetables, remote controls, medicines and similar small items, so it can serve in a study, kitchen, living room or hallway. The basket has a pastoral style, a woven seagrass body and a supplied hanging rope. It comes in two sizes and in colour options listed as Brown, White and Brown/SL. Because it is hand woven, small differences in shape and finish are normal, and the 1-2 cm measurement tolerance should be taken into account when choosing a size. The listing also notes that colours may vary slightly between computer displays and the actual item.

Features and Construction

The basket is built around a hand woven seagrass body with an open, pastoral look. Its main construction details are the woven fibre, the rounded basket shape and the included rope for hanging. The source text describes the material as ecological and more sustainable, but no further performance or durability claims are provided, so the basket is best understood as a lightweight natural-fibre storage item for suitable indoor use.

Material and Build

The material is seagrass, a natural plant fibre woven by hand into a basket form. This gives the basket a textured, pastoral appearance that suits relaxed home settings. Seagrass is named in the source as an ecological material and as a more sustainable option, which may appeal to shoppers moving away from plastic storage. As a natural woven product, it should be kept away from prolonged damp conditions and handled with reasonable care. No additional treatments, coatings or load ratings are stated in the source text.

Size and Practical Fit

Two sizes are available. Size S has a bottom diameter of 16 cm, a top diameter of 17 cm and a height of 23 cm. Size L has a bottom diameter of 19 cm, a top diameter of 21 cm and a height of 25 cm. The hanging drop is listed as 8 cm, 10 cm or 6 cm, with a rope length of 22 cm. A 1-2 cm error may exist. These dimensions make the basket suitable for small household items rather than bulky loads.

Uses and Placement

The basket is intended for stationery, fruits, vegetables, remote controls, medicines and similar items. It can sit on a desk, shelf, counter or table, or be hung using the supplied rope where a suitable hook or fixing is available. Its pastoral style and woven finish suit homes, event displays and professional settings where a natural look is wanted. The exact colour should be selected from the available options, as Brown, White and Brown/SL are listed and actual shades may differ slightly from images.

Event or Professional Use

For events or professional settings, the basket can be used to hold small display items, stationery or packaged goods in a way that fits a pastoral or natural theme. The hanging rope allows it to be placed at eye level or on a stand, which can help with presentation where surface space is limited. The two sizes allow a mix of small and slightly larger baskets to be used together. No specific commercial, food-safe or load-bearing certification is stated, so it should be used only for suitable light items.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the basket is suited to keeping everyday small items tidy. It can hold remote controls beside a sofa, stationery on a desk, medicines in a cupboard or fruit and vegetables on a kitchen counter. The hanging option can free up shelf space in a hallway or utility area. Because the basket is hand woven from seagrass, it is not intended for wet or heavy contents. A dry cloth wipe is the most suitable low-risk cleaning method based on the stated material.

Benefits and Buying Value

The main buying value comes from the combination of hand woven construction, seagrass material and multi-purpose use. The basket is available in two sizes and several colour options, and it includes a hanging rope. It is described as ecological and more sustainable, which may suit shoppers looking for a natural-fibre alternative to plastic storage. The source does not provide price comparisons, savings or lifespan claims, so value should be judged on its stated materials, dimensions and practical uses.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The basket can be reused for different small items around the home rather than being limited to one task. Its seagrass body needs only simple care: keep it dry, avoid soaking and wipe gently when necessary. The hanging rope adds another way to use it without taking up surface space. No washable, waterproof or machine-washable claims are made, so it should be treated as a natural-fibre basket that is best kept in dry indoor conditions.

Why Choose This Product

Choose this basket if you want a hand woven seagrass storage item with a pastoral style, two size choices and a hanging rope. It is listed for stationery, fruits, vegetables, remote controls, medicines and similar small items, making it a flexible option for several rooms. The colour options are Brown, White and Brown/SL, and the listing notes that shades may vary slightly from images. Allow for a 1-2 cm measurement difference when selecting S or L.
